UNIONMATEX was founded in 1918 in Chemnitz, Germany, as a company to promote the sales of German textile machinery manufacturers on international markets. In 1949 the company moved to Schwalbach a.Ts. near Frankfurt / Main. Since 2005 the domicile of the company is relocated in Chemnitz. UNIONMATEX has developed into a worldwide-operating Engineering Company and General Contractor for industrial projects in the following fields:
Our company is a Private Limited Company (GmbH) in its own right, formed under German law, with a fully paid-up capital of Euro 4.6 million. In our activities we are not bound to any specific manufacturer or type of products. Our staff, most of them with university degrees in engineering and economics, combine their efforts to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of each project stage and the success of the whole plant.
